Tips to Keep Your Teeth Healthy all Year!

1. Spend at least 2 to 3 minutes while brushing, remember that brushing for a short time doesn’t get all the germs!

2. Buy a new toothbrush every 3 months (or after you get over a cold! Don’t keep brushing with all those germs!) —and also remember to get toothbrushes with soft bristles.

3. Use mouthwash/rise (or even salt water in warm water) at least once a day – this will help protect your teeth from cavities and bad breath! Yuck!

4. Floss! Flossing is a great way to keep your teeth healthy! It removes all the hidden food in between your teeth and gums that the toothbrush can’t reach.

5. Avoid using cold water after eating hot foods (and vice versa) – as it can make your teeth more sensitive and weak.

Taking care of your teeth helps prevent plaque, cavities and decay. The food you eat is also a major factor is good oral care. Sweets and sugar especially attack your teeth with bacteria causing cavities, so make sure to incorporate fruits and vegetables, and drink lots of water!
